Fall Fundraiser

As a non-profit preschool, tuition intentionally covers 85% of our operating budget, ensuring we remain accessible to families. Like most schools on the Island, the volunteer Parent Board organizes two main annual fundraising events to help cover the remaining 15% of the budget. The financial generosity of our families—past and present—allows us to enhance and deepen classroom offerings, enrich the learning spaces, and invest in our exceptional teachers. Every gift will directly shape your child’s early learning experience here at Pixie Hill.

This fall, our goal is to raise $15,000 by December 19 with the following three objectives:

1. Bolster the school’s 2025/26 operating budget. Post-Covid years have brought fluctuations in enrolment to many independent preschools on the Island, including Pixie Hill. Your donation will help us preserve low student-teacher ratios, our school’s core value.

2. Prepare for the exciting changes ahead. As the search for Pixie Hill’s next location continues, we are starting to plan for associated costs like moving and updating the new space to meet the preschool’s needs.

3. Bring extra enrichment into the classroom this school year. Families may also sponsor an “onsite field trip.” (Bunnies by Emma & Ellie, Dizzy’s Tumblebus, Seattle Reptile Guy, Animal Encounters, Yoga classes with Miss Rebecca).
